Canada Suites: Great Place to Spend a Family Vacation
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • Satisfaction:
  • We are originally from Toronto, but have been working in Europe for some time now. We wanted to come and visit family in Toronto, but instead of staying in a typical hotel we decided to rent a furnished condo to spend a month in Toronto and visit friends and family. We have chosen canada suites because they were right at Bloor and Yonge and offered us a really nice two bedroom suite for much less than we would have spent for two small rooms in a hotel. The suite had a nice kitchen with full size appliances and a dishwasher (very important feature as we are not into washing dishes) so that we did not have to eat out all the time. Also the place was nicely equipped with everything from wine and champagne glasses to a cheese grater and an ice cream scooper (very handy tool for a 10 year old who loves ice cream). They do not charge extra for the high speed internet either so that we could surf the web all we wanted. We opted for by weekly maid service and the maid who came did a wonderful job. We are really impressed and would stay at Canada suites again

Unique Qualities: The person who did reservations was very knowledgeable and took time to explain all available options. They do not charge for high speed internet, extra towels and a folding bed. The place was nice and clean and beds were simply amazing. We also liked a small balcony as we have a friend who still can't quit.

Delta Chelsea Hotel: Avoid this dingy place Compare Rates
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • Satisfaction:
  • We wanted to take the kids to the indoor water slide at the Delta Chelsea downtown toronto and were disappointed. The staff at the front desk was very poorly trained and had difficulty speaking english. Our rooms were not ready upon arrival : (

When we finally got the rooms they were soo small and dingy... : ( :(

We complained and were eventually moved WITHOUT any Apology to two other dingy but at least clean rooms. At the price they charge the rooms should be much better. Oh, and the water slide... It is there, but again - very dingy... There are so many other places that I suggest you stay away from Delta

Unique Qualities: location is OK, staff is RUDE, manager tries to hide and pretends she is not there

    rooms are dingy
