You can see the guide wires attached to the tower to keep it from falling over. The are currently re-enforcing the tower and will slowly pull it back into an almost upright position (messing with mother nature and...a historical monument.) However, if it were to fall, it would be lost to all, so better save now than be sorry later. Once you have seen Pisa once......head north to Cinque Terre |
