I have heard many times that Venice is a dirty city. I loved it so much in 1998 that we went again last year! I wanted to show it to my daughter for the shear beauty of the water against the patina of the buildings. This picture is interesting in that it looks like my daughter is looking at a framed picture of Venice. This is VENICE....a view from the ferry on the way over. It was a lovely day and a great first visual to the city. We had a hectic 2 days (really need three at a slower pace.) Loved it so much....just have to go back.
