If some one will ask me to portray Manila from a tourist's perspective, I would say Manila is city of friendly, courteous and always happy 14 million Pilipinos; home of world's biggest shopping malls and unlimited restaurants. No worries if "no load" in the cell phones or "no money" after weekend; but you will still find them happy and smiling, Though a third world country but still among the world’s happiest countries. Friday night will see lot of action in the bars and restaurants in GreenBelt and Fort areas of Makati, Metrowalk in Ortigas and Libis in Quezon City. In between Friday and Sunday, Philipinos will head for shopping malls. |
