I found myself enjoying more traveling to villages than visiting museums, monuments and palaces. I love to visit little villages-the kind of one-rue town. Every village has subtle differences in character and the best sight is the landscape between the villages.
When I was a tourist,I had a little bit of anxiety called "tourist's remorse" from having missed something on my must-see or must-do list. Since when I became a traveler,I enjoy more being in somewhere I really like and skip something else. I like quiet times, period of solitude in places of breath-taking beauty and leave time for happenings.

Hello Tomorino ! Hope u had a great B-Day and lots of health.... Hugs
from this side of the city (to the south).
Thanks, Tomorino-san, for your suggestion to obtain cash in Japan. As I said, in my experience, Shinsei Bank was the only place I was able to get cash. 7/11 will make it a lot easier!
Thanks for your comments - the lakes crossing is one of the 'musts' in my opinion
Looking forward to your recent trip pictures and comments!
Hi! Thank you so much for your birthday wishes. Glória
Glad you also enjoyed Tokyo years before --- it would be interesting to see if we went to exactly the same places. I went to the Big Buddha in Kamakura because my I saw a pic of my late grandpa beside it (1950's) - so I jumped beside it, hehehe...
Honolulu is great place..And the weather is Fabulous today ..Nice Tradewinds !!
Thanks for taking me for a lovely photo tour of France, really enjoyed it.
