Ok, so you're visiting Tuscany... ...why shouldn't you take a side trek to Pisa? It's got the world's most famous bell tower, AKA, the Leaning Tower. Actually, the architecture has appeal for fans of the Renaissance era. I've got a few travel tips on this page for anyone who's interested - the main one is to visit Pisa in the AM & drive to Lucca for the rest of the day. And the restaurants in Pisa near the tower & cathedral aren't too shabby - they're tourist traps but the food can be quite good. |
