My fiance and I visited Anaheim purely for the first round of the 2008 Supercross season. Incidentally it was a perfect day for us despite the overcast weather. My fiance met his favourite (Australian) rider Chad Reed and Reedy even went on to win!

Well I have become obsessed. I never watched cartoons as a kid or was overly keen on Disney but I have always loved amusement parks. It was on that basis that we decided to do the usual touristy stunt of 3 days at Disney.

I fell in love. The rides weren't super scary but they were all so perfect. Everything was and people so helpful. I am itching to get back over there and tell everyone I meet they need to do the same.

We loved the little red ART buses and the ease at which we travelled around the entire area. We visited most of the shopping areas including the Block at Orange and the Santa Ana mall. We became regulars at the Target just up the road and lived (almost) at the Millies restaurant between our hotel and Disney. Everyone everywhere in Anaheim was so helpful and pleasant. Would totally recommend it to everyone especially those people with kids wanting a great holiday.
