Lots of Nature to Love and lots of wine too drink!

Stanthorpe is a small country town with a lot to offer. Generally people come here to visit Girraween National Park or the 40 something wineries our district has on off. We have a strong Italian base which means we have heaps more great quality restaurants than a town our size should have.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Small town with heaps of wineries, restaurants and nature on offer
Cons:Freezing in Winter (although many people think this is a good thing!)
In a nutshell:Wine, food, rocks and cold winters!

The Maze looks amaz(e)ing to me. As I love to eat lots, in particular German and Italian food, I love your mouth-watering restaurant tips. Just worried about the Antarctic winters you seem to have... Will bring a jersey over my fur... Kimi
