Taxi's are always available in Brisbane, During peak hour I would call 20 minutes before you are ready, The only time you have troubles finding a taxi in Brisbane, Is when Brisbane is holding a Major Sporting Event, (Rugby Leage, AFL and the cricket are the main big ones) which are usually held over the weekend. Even then you can get a cab within 30 minute

If you are in BRisbane Central and need to get to the airport and cant get a Taxi, Either get on at Central or Roma Street station and catch the air train to the airpot, Air trains leave every 30 minutes and from Central the train will have you at the International airport in 18 minutes and the domectic in 20 minutes, (Faster than a cab)

During peak hour and there is no sporting event, Average wait time for a taxi is 15 minutes, Non peak 5-7 minutes,

Peak and there is a major sporting event on Call the cab company an hour before ya want ya cab
