I went to Amsterdam for a day. In those 10 hours I was there I realized I needed more time to see everything. I had a lot of fun though. Its definitely an experience. It was a Saturday and even my brother said he didn't remember it being this busy there. He lived in Amsterdam for a few months. The next day we found out there was a huge protest on the square for the government making some sort of mushroom illegal. Must be why we saw some news cameras on the square.

You never know who you'll meet or what you'll see in Amsterdam. There was the crazy drug addict who got in my face in the Red Light District, the odd (but very cool looking) performers in the square but my personal favorite was when I met (and got to kiss) Freddy Krueger! You never know who you'll see on the streets of Amsterdam!

I have to share this story. I'm walking through Amsterdam and I see this couch sitting outside some little shop. I'm a moron and think its a Curious George couch. I am in LOVE with Curious George so I had to take a ton of pictures of it. It wasn't until I got home and was showing off my pictures of Europe that my friend told me it was a Paul Frank couch, not a Curious George couch. Damn. Oh well, its still a cool couch :)
