| Hanging out at the Christmas Market |
| | Travel plans December 20th-January 3rd I am going to be in Brugge, Belgium spending the holidays with my brother, his wife, and their new baby girl Lilly Ann. I think most of my trip will be spent just hanging out in town with the family and getting to know my new niece. I definitely plan on bringing in the new year with a big party and lots and lots of Belgium beer though.
Until then, just local trips. When I get back from Belgium in January I will be spending my time saving up for a 3 week trip with a beautiful girl to the South i.e. Louisiana, Alabama, possibly Georgia and on the way home we are going to stop in Memphis. The plan for that trip is July 2010. I definitely can't wait for that! It'll be a nice change from going over to Europe 3 years in a row. |
You say I'm a dreamer... But I'm not the only one. I have big plans for my life. My grandma passed away in May of this year. After her death I took a look at my life and realized I can NOT let life pass me by. I made up a bucket list. Right now I have 25 items on the list and I will just keep adding on to it. I can't wait to start checking things off!
1.) Sky dive anywhere. As long as I have witnesses because I doubt anybody would believe I actually did it. 2.) Sing karaoke. I've never done it before---can you believe it? 3.) Get married. 4.) Go backpacking through Europe for at LEAST 2 months if not longer. 5.) See Auschwitz 6.) Move someplace other than in Missouri or Illinois 7.) Go to Spain and see where Salvador Dali lived. His house was turned into a museum you know? 8.) Adopt a child---eventually. 9.) Play guitar---like an actual song. Preferably Yellow Ledbetter by Pearl Jam (way to dream big) 10.) Snorkel in the Great Barrier Reef 11.) Visit EVERY state in the United States 12.) Have a Creme Brulee at the place "Amelie" was filmed in Paris. 13.) I would say have a fling in Europe but I may be able to already mark that one off. 14.) Meet Incubus and have an actual conversation with Brandon Boyd 15.) Shave my head (maybe when I go backpacking...) 16.) Buy a 1967 Mustang preferably blue with white racing stripes but I'm not TOO picky. 17.) Have something published or shown for all the world to see...a photo, a poem, a story, a painting. Anything. 18.) Buy a house or apartment in Paris. I don't care if I'm 80 years old. I'll live there one day. 19.) See the Mona Lisa in Paris and go up the Eiffel Tower 20.) Build a library to resemble the one in Beauty and the Beast. And hopefully have enough books to fill it. 21.) Go to the Love Parade in Germany. 22.) Date a guy in a band. 23.) Be someone's muse 24.) Speak French and Dutch FLUENTLY 25.) Swim in Lake Lugano in Lugano Switzerland | | | My best friend and I surprisingly sober |

| Its amazing who you'll see in Amsterdam! |
| | Amsterdam My favorite city in Europe is Amsterdam. I have many fond memories of the short 10 hours I was there. I love the people, the atmosphere. There is always something to see and something to do. Maybe the next time I go I'll meet up with another Freddy Krueger lookalike! |
More about me So, what about me? My biggest "hobby" is reading. I own over 300 books and I keep collecting more. If I'm bored enough I'll read the TV Guide. I also love movies. I own too many, download too many more, and borrow even more. I'm glad I opted for the biggest cable package. One of my all time favorite movies is "Amelie". Watch it. It will change your life.
My family and friends are super important to me. With out my best friend (and soul mate) Fahlen I don't know where I'd be. She is a true inspiration. My parents are amazing people, you can't find better people than them.
Other than that I love to travel, go on road-trips. Watch the sunrise, assess the crazy dreams I have on a nightly basis. I work a lot, I play a lot more. I love concerts, going to movies, eating the popcorn in the theater (there is nothing better than that), I derive an immense amount of pleasure by eating Starbursts on a daily basis. I jog every day. I play with my hair constantly and wear too much mascara. My favorite thing is walking through downtown St Louis or the U City Loop with my camera. You never know what you'll see.
My latest obsession is the Twilight saga. Yes, I know I'm 25. But who doesn't love a good love story? I feel like a kid again when I read the books and I am impatiently waiting for the next movie to come out. | | |
