Being in the UK was one of the most wonderful things that ever have happened to me...For those who don't know, I went with my boyfriend during Pearl Jam's Binaural Tour, there was a show in all the cities we visited, starting in Barcelona in May and ending in Paris in June. I wish we could have stayed longer, as I would have liked to visit Cambridge, York, Oxford and the Highlands in Scotland, but as the saying goes: 'Time is Money', had to make up my mind and think of what we would do next and forget about what we didn't do...
I always wanted to visit UK, London mainly, for particular and personal reasons, and this was like the realisation of a dream, a dream I would have to be still "dreaming"...
We mainly travelled by train, got the Britrail Pass and went on the "road". I think it's one very good choice, as the service is good (though I've learnt there have been many accidents since 2000...) and you can enjoy the landscape, which is part of the trip... |
