Warwick Castle is a subsidiary of Tussauds of wax museum fame. There is a very commercial nature to the Warwick experience, but that's not necessarily a bad thing! There are lots of activities, a great reconstructed castle, and plenty of opportunity to sit back and enjoy the gardens...not a bad deal at all

Wyleys Cafe

My personal favorite Warwick place to visit was a chance find of a lovely little tea room - we happened to find a little alleyway called Market Place and found a joy! The Tearooms look like something from decades past. We could not resist tea and cake. The cakes, scones, and breads are all homemade and absolutley delicious! This was an unanticipated pleasure! We bought cookies, bread, and goodies for tomorrow's picnic, as well as marmalade to take home

Wylie's Emporium

Wylie's Cafe Tearooms, Old Iron Yard, 66 Marketplace Warwick...fresh baked cakes, scones, and all kinds of delectables! Jams, teas ,and other goodies are sold in the back of the shop that houses the Tearoom. Absolutely delicious - step back a half a century

• Pros:Warwick is a great little town!
• Cons:tourist haven - but then its and excellent tourist destination...
• In a nutshell:Enjoy the castle...then go for a walk around town!!!!
