VT didn't have a Bunratty page, so this is my Shannon/Bunratty site. I'm going to move some things over to Bunratty!
Bunratty Castle is on lots of itineraries - so close to Shannon airport, it makes a great first or last night destination.
The Shannon region encompasses a large region with lots of little environments - the Bunratty/Shannon airport area is just a small sample of all there is to see and do. From the Mount Shannon area's lush green town to the many scenic towns along the River, this is a great place to explore!

Great castle and interesting page. Loved your ghost story, but my husband says it's too material a ghost to be true.
