Many people who love visiting Ireland are afraid to visit the North, particularly Belfast. Although I might hesitate to visit in mid-July, I wouldn't miss the opportunity to explore this city. As with most cities, visitors are welcomed and treated with courtesy.

Pros:a beautiful city with much to see and do
Cons:the fear of political differences still influences tourism
In a nutshell:always leave local politics to locals, and enjoy the beauty to be found
