A rural retreat
Rather an incorrect name for this area as there are in fact more than 200 islands.
In many other countries this beautiful place would be heaving with tourists and commercialism. Here there is none, I guess with so many other islands here and in other parts of Japan there is too much choice.
As it is this tranquil haven is waiting for those who wish to visit, away from it all does not begin to describe it.
