Naples is one of those cities you either love or hate. It's noisy; dirty; bustling with some of the worst traffic anywhere, but I loved it!
I like a city who does not put on a 'pretty face' for me but just gets on with its business regardless, but tolerant of us tourists. Naples is just that, it says take me as I am or leave me alone - great. |

|  | Incredible food. I will detail certain places to eat but you will not get bad food anywhere in Naples.
All the pizzas we tried were light crisp and with subtle variations from place to place. They were so huge that a pizza between two with a fresh salad, plus of course some local beer or wine made a perfect lunch.
Not to mention the superb pasta; ice cream; cakes; pastries and coffee, this is not a place to watch the waistline. |
| | Treasure galore! Plenty of interest for lovers of History; Art and Culture. The Archeology Museum is world class and has all the best treasures from Pompeii & Herculaneum, but this is only one of many sights to see. There are many other museums, a Royal Palace and many wonderful churches to name but a few. |
