It's true, we never find the island, the island finds us!

Kythira is far from mainly touristic, it is unconventional.

The geography, climate and morphology of the island have created a rich palette of landscapes:

high mountains end abruptly to the sea, forming small bays
deep gorges tear the harsh stone and create shelters of wild vegetation with waterfalls and creeks.

wonderful seas pebbled, green-blue, deep or goldened by sand...

History, inevitably, envied this natural beauty;
castles, once grand, abandoned states of an era passed and impressive caves; along with the architectural style of Venetians and English conquerors,Kythira have formed a unique identity with influences also from the Ionian Islands, Crete and Peloponnese.

Kindness and hospitality of the inhabitants make one feel part of the island.
