Waterjet in Calangute, Goa
Calangute is the place for waterjet, parachute, waterski and other water activites. Beach boys walk around and ask tourists. The price is normally 750 rupies for 10 minutes. You can try to bargain or ask for more time.
Address: Calangute beach
Baga beach, Goa
Baga Beach is a c-shaped, wide and flat beach with many restaurants on the right side of the beach. The sand quality is not as good as it is in Candolim and Calangute beach.

The Beach Road is the best place for tourists in Candolim. The road has the nicest restaurants and bars, and the road is not so trafficated.

Massage on the beach
Both lokal men and women walk around the beach and ask tourists if they like a massage, manicure or pedicure. The normal price is about 2-300 INR (5-7 USD) for a 30 minutes massage.
The indian woman Tara changed from selling clothes to give massage.
Cybercafe in Beach Road, Candolim
India is a developed country when it comes to computer technology, and there are some cybercafes in Goa. But the bureaucracy is bad. I had to bring my passport, then sign a receipt with passport number, name, birth date, hotel name and my signature.

Fort Aguada, Goa
Fort Aguada is located between Sinquerim Beach and River Mandovi. The fort was built by the Portuguese in the early 17th century to defend themselves against any foreign attack, and to control the entry of the River Mandovi.

Sinquerim Beach, Goa
The Sinquerim Beach is a c-shaped beach right south of Candolim. The distance to Panaji is 13 km. Fort Aguada is located near the beach (pictures from the beach are taken from the fort). Sinquerim is one of the oldest preserved beaches in Goa. There are a lot of waterjets and boats making the beach more noisy.

Candolim beach, Goa
Candolim beach is the second largest beach in Goa. Actually it is a continuation of Calangute beach, and it is no visible partition between them. Candolim beach is wide with soft sand. There are several beach restaurants here and a lot of sunbeds, but in contrast to Calangute beach you have to pay for using the beds since the restaurants doesn't have a ownership to the shoreline. It costs from 50-100 rupies depending on how good you are to bargain. There are many beach boys, hawkers and women selling "this-and-that" on this beach. I have never seen anything like it at any other beach I have been to. And they don't take no for an answer. Buy food, beer, softdrinks, clothes and take massage. There are mostly english tourist here and some russians. This beach is the best in North-Goa in terms of the sand/sea quality. It is the second best when it comes to accessibility of restaurants and water activities.

Calangute Beach is the largest beach in Goa. It is a continuation of Candolim beach, with no visible partition between them. The beach is wide with soft sand, but the sea is rough. There are several beach restaurants and most of them have their own area with sunbeds close to the shoreline. The sunbeds are free of use if you order food and drinks from the restaurants. Beach boys will take your order and deliver it to the restaurant. They are nagging a bit if you order to little.
Beach boys and hawkers selling "this and that" can be annoying and don't take no for an answer. Calangute is the place for waterjet, parachute and waterski.
Calangute beach was hippie-haven for a long time ago. Today is it only english, russian and indian middle class turists left. When it comes to the quality of sand/sea is this beach in my opinion the second best in North-Goa after Candolim. It is the best when it comes to accessibility of restaurants and water activities.
