I love to travel. That is obvious since I have this web page. As a young boy I had a dream to visit all the countries in the world. It remains to be seen if it's possible. Maybe it's reasonable to reduce the amount of countries in half or even more? I have visited some of the countries many times... Kenya 2 times, Spain 3 times, Portugal 4 times, Brazil 6 times, Thailand 8 times, Denmark and Germany many times, and the neighbour country Sweden almost every year.
I'm not a luxurious traveller. I like to be with the locals and eat and drink in the same places as they do. I try not to stay at expensive hotels or resorts because I don't like the atmosphere there. I rather stay at smaller guesthouses, family hotels or apartments. The purpose of this web page is to share my experiences and tips. But it is also a tool for me to count and make a summary of my travels. Most of my tips are from backpacking in Africa.
