A year in Germany

Frankfurt International Autoshow; 'Das Ladies'
The year in Germany for a Canadian boy is a dream; smack dab right in the heart of Europe, just waiting to be traveled, and 29 vacations days waiting to be spent!

Travelling as a Hobby

Travelling is a great thing to do. A couple of things you should know about it though:
1. It is very expensive, taking in to account flight costs (usually places worth going to are far away like europe). Unless you can find those hostels with kitchens
2. For you to really make the most out of the trip, you should do you research. First of all, why is the place you are visiting famous? It is a beautiful scenery area, or a place of historic significance, or simply a great shopping and commercial center, which in my opinion, Frankfurt is.
3. Please be careful, especially in eastern european cities and farther east. those sketchy places have scams, especially in bars and such. Besides those scams, the laws in certain places are very funny, like in egypt woman must ride in the rear of the cabs, which may cause confusion and send wrong signals to the locals. theyre not shy, so watch out.
