Filled with snow run off from the Sierra Nevada mountains, the water in this lake is so clear it is said that you can see a white dinner plate up to 75 feet below the water surface. Not only is this water clear but it's very cold as you can imagine. This doesn't stop people from swimming and boating and enjoying a variety of water sports in the summer months. |
