Having very eclectic taste in music and Staaalplaat catering to that type of taste, it was always my dream to go to the shop in Amsterdam and browse around for an hour or so (I could probably spend more than that in there). I had been familiar with their site on the web as well as their label so I was pretty excited to see what they had in stock. I was amazed by the amount and variety of hard to find CDs and LPs that they had. This little shop is the place to go with your obscure taste. Like most shops in Europe you're more than welcome to listen to anything before you buy it. It was a bit hard to find but well worth the hunt.
What To Buy: Experimental, electronic, etc, CDs, LPs, Tapes and magazines. open Mondays - Fridays from 11.00-18.00 hrs Saturdays from 12.00-17.00 hrs
What To Pay: Average prices for CDs and such are to be expected.
