Pommes Frites stands can be found all over Amsterdam and all over the Netherlands. The nice thing about pommes frites is that they are fairly inexpensive and very filling. The healthy part is another story. There are a number of toppings that you can put on your frites but one of the most popular is mayonayse. Server piping hot in a paper cone with a small wooden fork to keep sauce from getting all over your fingers from getting all over your fingers. This is a great fast and portable meal.
Favorite Dish: Pommes Frites with mayo is my favorite.

Restaurant Name: Febo
You have to be drunk, stoned or curious to want to eat at Febo. This vending machine style fast food restaurant is not for the weak stomach. There are many selections of which I have tried the 'hamburger' and the chicken sandwich. I didn't have the stomach to try the other mysterious fried delights. The food selection process is quite unique as you insert money, open the small door and remove your hot meal. Locations are available throughout the city as well as the Netherlands in general. Also keep your eye out for Febo impostors. I'm not sure how they stack up against the original.
Favorite Dish: I'd have to say the chicken sandwich is my favorite.
