Things To Do: Man Mo Temple

One of a variety of temples in HK this one found near the corner of Hollywood Rd and Ladder St is one of my favorites. Inside this smoky little building from the 1840s you'll find tons of spirals of sandalwood incense hanging from the ceiling as worshipers move about focused on their prayers. Out in the front of the temple you will pass by a huge furnace where worshipers come to burn their offerings for the spirits of the dead.

Address: Near the corner of Hollywood Rd. And Ladder Street
Directions: MTR to Sheng Wan. Exit A1 or A2 and wwalk up Hillier St to Queen's Rd. Right on Queens then a left on Ladder St. Up about a block on Ladder St and you can't miss it. You should also see some signs along the way.

Good and accurate tips on the transportation, I used all three of them during my company trips there. Next time that I’m in Hong Kong I shall go to dinner in that Thai restaurant that you recommend it sounds delicious. Great page, |
