Getting To/From/Around London

I flew from the states into Gatwick. From the airport it's about a 30 minute train ride into Victoria Station. From Victoria you can go anywhere in London on the Underground.

My return trip to London from Paris was on the train through the Chunnel. I didn't even know that I was under water. This is about a 3 hour ride and I thik costs about $60 one way if I remember correctly.

Everyone knows that the Underground is the best way to get around. if you don't already know this you know it now. It seems that 2 blocks in any direction is another underground station. The layout of the routes is very simple and after a few rides, you're a pro.
