Restaurant Name: Wagamama
This place was hard to find and I don't think I would have stumbled across it if I wasn't taken here by a local. I liked it so much that the next day I tried to find it on my own with no luck.
The restraunt is downstairs in a basement. The decorations are minimal at best. Plain walls and long tables with bench seating. Very simple and very modern.
The specialties are asian soups, noodle and rice dishes and specialty drinks all with a focus on good healthy food. They put a great twist on the traditions of udon and ramen.
I wouldn't recommend this place for a date but it's good for a quick bite alone or with a group of friends.
I was also lucky to find a Wagamama when I was in Amsterdam and I think they're opening up locations here and there around the world so keep your eyes open. They now have 13 locations in London alone.
Favorite Dish: I don't remember exactly what I had but I'm sure it was noodle soup. They also have good appetizers. If you're hungry enough to eat a bowl of soup and then some try the tori kara age which is a starter of fried chicken. The dipping sauce is out of this world.
