"Alsfeld" Alsfeld by cwest03

We only spent a night in Alsfeld, arriving late and leaving early. We had driven all day from Berlin and were heading toward the Rhine and Koln. We happend upon this small town at as it was getting late and time for a meal and bed. About a mile or so off of the highway into the hills of this town took us to the hotel that we would stay at that night.

Check in was a breeze although no one spoke much English. We dropped off our bags and headed to the restaurant for a meal.
