Villa Colombia is a very friendly hotel, very popular with budget travelers. The hotel is run by a family from Colombia who will do whatever they can in order to make you enjoy your stay at the hotel and in Puerto Lopez.
It offers kitchen and laundry facilities (the kitchen is big and you can even invite frinds who don't reside at the hotel).
Most rooms have private bath and the water is hot.

Charming hotel, ruled by two very nice Colombians, whose motto is "You're home ". And I promise that you really feel home ! Hamacs, kitchen, hot water, games, fans are provided.... The best address in town !
Charmant hotel, gere par deux colombiens dont la devise est "Vous etes chez vous !". Et c'est vrai qu'on se sent bien : hamacs, cuisine, eau chaude, jeux, ventilateurs... La meilleure adresse de la ville!

My girlfriend and I spent one week at the hostel and enjoyed the quite and peacefull place. Away from the city noice of Puerto Lopez it's a perfect place to step back and relax. Things to do there are: having a swim in the sea, observe the huge amount of different birds or during June to September watch Humback whales passing by. But there's no nightlife.
There are lovely bungalows to sleep in and if you are a group you get discount. The view is great and there are 2 lonely, pristine beaches. The accomodation is better than everything we've seen during 8 months of travel in south america. The owner is very friendly and can arrange everything. The place is perfectly safe and food is great.
