I arrived and got checked into my single room #113 and was surprised to find myself on the corner of the hotel next to the Swiss flag with a balcony outside my large windows.
The rooms are well appointed with a writing table, chair, alarm clock, cable tv and a spacious and comfortable bed. The lighting is nice and the en suite bathroom is good sized with strong water pressure.
There is a free internet terminal in the lobby next to the elevator for the guests' use and the restaurant is popular with the locals at dinner and offers a good selection for the breakfast buffett.
There is a pool for the guests to use in an adjacent building. Just ask the clerk about its availability. The pool is open until 9pm.
The location of the hotel is outstanding. Only about 5-7 min. walk from the train station, near the lake and near the Dying Lion and there is a shopping center with a grocery store close to the hotel.
