UK - May 2005 | SS Peter & Paul Church, North curry |
In May 2005 we travelled to the UK to visit family and friends, and see places associated with our family history. We hired a car at Heathrow (Fiat Punto from National/Alamo - very satisfied with their car and service) and went to visit firends at Itchen Abbas near Winchester, then to Bristol visiting cousins we had never met, and through North Curry (see pic) where my great great great grandfather was born, and on to Devon and Cornwall. We went up through Wales to Cumbria and Scotland, and visited Durham, Leeds, the Isle of Asholme and Essex on the way down. |
